SMU Students Chat with Bottle Rocket Leadership Team

Recently, an undergraduate leadership class from Cox School of Business at SMU visited the Bottle Rocket space. This group of mostly management students wanted to hear from our top thought leaders about things like effective conflict management, solving problems, fostering change, and becoming a leader.

During their visit, the group of 20 students received a personal tour from our Founder and CEO and fellow SMU graduate Calvin Carter. They also sat down with members of our leadership team for an exclusive Q&A. During their discussion, they talked about Bottle Rocket innovations like our hackathons, brainstorm sessions, whiteboard wall iterations, and more. They also covered the origin of Bottle Rocket, hiring Rocketeers based on culture fit, our lo-fi work approach, and our collaborative work environment

Some feedback from students included the following:

“The culture of their company is what really stood out to me…trust and transparency priorities in their company...I can't help feeling like Bottle Rocket would be such an amazing company to work at. “

We pride ourselves on a learning culture that places emphasis on collaboration and culture. If you’re interested in our work environment, visit the Bottle Rocket careers page.
