The [iRetire® by BlackRock® iPad app](http://shortyawards.com/9th/iretire-by-blackrock-ipad-app) has been nominated for a Shorty Award in the [Mobile Sites & Apps – Finance category](http://shortyawards.com/category/9th/finance-apps). The iRetire app provides a new way for financial advisors to help their clients close the gap between where they stand today and the income they want each year in retirement. Creating an app powerful enough to serve the needs of financial advisors, but clear enough for end investors to feel empowered to meet their retirement goals was challenging. We’re proud to be nominated! The [Huggies Rewards mobile app](http://shortyawards.com/9th/huggies-rewards-mobile-app) has also been nominated for a Shorty Award in the [Mobile Sites & Apps – Kids & Lifestyle App category](http://shortyawards.com/category/9th/kids-lifestyle-apps). The app provided a seamless transition from user PIN code entry to receipt uploading without causing a major rift among current rewards members. The Huggies app continues to simplify a parent’s busy life while rewarding them for purchasing products they’ve come to know and trust for their little ones. The Shorty Awards honor the best of social media by recognizing the influencers, brands and organizations across social media. The Shortys remains the most prominent award show of its kind, engaging an online audience of millions. The 9th annual Shorty Awards will be held April 23, 2017 in New York City and streamed to the public.
